Hooked On Fishing Mate App is like no other fishing app. The app was designed by fishing TV host Dave Butfield. Dave has over 25 years experience in fishing and travels around Australia and overseas filming his TV show called Hooked.

Dave was thinking ‘wouldn’t it be great to have an app that stores all your fishing information at a click of a button’. Well this app just does that very thing.

The Hooked On Fishing Mate enables you to take a photo of your catch with one click of a button. All you have to do is take a photo of your catch and that’s it. By taking that one photo you have recorded the GPS marks of your location, tide that the fish was caught in, barometer, moon phase and time the fish was caught. The photo and data is then stored into a fishing log, so when you need that information it’s available at a click of a button. You can also share your fishing log's with other iPhone & Android users.

Another great feature in this app is that once you retrieve that fishing log you are able to click the map view tab and this will direct you to a full screen map showing the location where that fish was caught. This will also show you the distance from your current location and ETA to your destination.

Some of the other great functions with Hooked On Fishing Mate is that you will be able to receive up to date weather reports, latest wind speeds, wind directions, swell heights, swell directions and barometer. All that information is just on the weather screen alone.

Hooked On Fishing Mate has an Almanac and moon phase, current sea temperatures, radar, satellite, tide times, trip planner and so much more.
